From Intern to Social Media Maestro: My Journey with Proximity Learning

Picture this: a bright-eyed intern stepping into the world of social media, armed with enthusiasm and a knack for creativity. Little did I know that this journey would take me from novice to coordinator extraordinaire at Proximity Learning, where I crafted digital magic and watched our online presence soar.

As a social media intern turned coordinator, I wore many hats (figuratively, of course, but I do look great in hats). From managing and creating content calendars that spanned the social media universe—Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube—to being the go-to content developer for our K-12 Educational Platform, every day was a whirlwind of strategy and storytelling.

One of my proudest achievements was independently overseeing the entire workflow, development, execution, and management of our social media messaging.

Speaking of metrics, let's talk about the over 50%+ growth in Impressions, Audience, and Engagements month after month. However, It wasn't just about numbers; it was about connecting with our audience and creating meaningful interactions that resonated.

Of course, every success story needed a dose of strategy. I reported key performance indicators (KPIs) to the C-Suite monthly, aligning our social media efforts with broader business goals. Collaboration was vital, and I worked hand in hand with team members to expand our marketing channels and stay ahead of trends.

Engagement was more than likes and shares—it was about building relationships. I responded to comments, posts, and questions with the finesse of a social media ninja, keeping our audience engaged and informed.

But it didn't stop there. As a project manager for educational influencers, teachers, and district administrators' campaigns, I told stories that resonated across platforms, amplifying our brand's voice and impact.

Tools of the trade? I mastered social media scheduling with Sprout Social and HubSpot and navigated project management like a pro with ClickUp.

So, from intern to social media maestro, my journey at Proximity Learning was nothing short of exhilarating. Here's to crafting more digital adventures and spreading our brand's message far and wide!
